It’s finally happening! The 1994 cult-classic Andaz Apna Apna, starring Salman Khan and Aamir Khan, is set to hit theaters again in April 2025! If you grew up watching Amar and Prem’s hilarious misadventures, this is your chance to relive the magic on the big screen—with a 4K restoration and Dolby 5.1 surround sound upgrade!
Plot & Legacy: Why This Film is Still Unbeatable!
Directed by Rajkumar Santoshi, Andaz Apna Apna follows two dreamers, Amar (Aamir Khan) and Prem (Salman Khan), who set out to marry the wealthy heiress Raveena Bajaj (Raveena Tandon). But things take a wildly comedic turn when their rivalries, mistaken identities, and a showdown with the iconic villain Teja (Paresh Rawal) create absolute chaos.
Despite its underwhelming box office numbers in 1994, Andaz Apna Apna has since become one of Bollywood’s most beloved comedies. From “Aila! Teja main hoon, mark idhar hai” to “Crime Master Gogo”, the film’s dialogues and characters have become timeless pop culture references.

Why Is Andaz Apna Apna Still Relevant Today?
The film remains a masterclass in slapstick comedy, perfectly blending physical humor, witty dialogues, and unforgettable characters. Whether it’s Teja’s “Mark idhar hai!”, Prem’s “Ooi Maa!”, or Crime Master Gogo’s “Aankhein nikal ke gotiyan khelta hoon!”, these punchlines never get old.
The movie also introduced the concept of rivalry-driven friendships, which later inspired Bollywood buddy comedies like Dostana and Chupke Chupke. Its ability to bridge generations of Bollywood fans makes it a perfect candidate for a modern-day theatrical revival.
Box Office Expectations: Will It Break Records?
